Trinity Boys Choir is proud to perform once again at the world's biggest music festival, the BBC Proms. The reviews of Britten's 'Spring Symphony' were generous in their praise of the boys' work:

Fortunately the Trinity Boys Choir retained vocally some of their tougher personas from ENO's recent 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', bringing just the right amount of chesty personality and attitude to The Driving Boy. While we've had some outstanding work from children's choirs at the Proms this year, Trinity once again proved their professional quality. The Arts Desk

A highly successful summer of operas comes to an end with a performance of Glyndebourne’s production of Hänsel und Gretel at the BBC Proms. Starting in May, Trinity Boys Choir appeared in Billy Budd and Hänsel und Gretel at Glyndebourne, in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Garsington, and in Carmen at The Royal Opera House. All three of these operas were shown on big screens in London over the summer.

The boys were mentioned in a number of reviews, including:

  • "The stars of the show are a band of combined cadet force imps from Trinity Boys Choir, making devilish mischief amid the bedsteads and singing like angels."
The Sunday Times, A Midsummer Night's Dream
  • "...the immaculately drilled Trinity Boys Choir, sixteen choristers whose small-soldier shenanigans pepper the evening and who deservedly get top billing at the curtain call."
The Stage, A Midsummer Night's Dream
  • "...special mention must be made of the children who threw themselves into their first scene choruses with scene stealing panache."
